Casey Bowman is the founder of Knee of the Curve (KOTC), a consciousness research and education platform. Before turning fully to consciousness work, Casey spent roughly 15 years as a licensed journeyman electrician (IBEW 353), with additional experience in tower climbing and oil rig work in Alberta. That trades background — reading systems, circuits, and load — became the intuitive seed for KOTC's Entropy-Coherence-Resonance (ECR) Model, one of the two original frameworks (alongside Nested Observer Window Theory) at the core of KOTC's work. Casey is based in Ontario, Canada.

Casey's work is grounded in lived human experience. He loves and is inspired by his incredible daughter Cali. His life experiences and relationships have shaped his perspective and ability to help others.

ECR frames “development” as a measurable shift from high internal disorder (entropy) to higher coherence, freeing attention and energy for perception, learning, creativity, and connection.
